1 WEEK

This phase is about identifying what you want, where you want to go, and making sure we lay the necessary groundwork to make this program a success for you.

We’ll do a deep dive in order to gain the clarity you need to create a roadmap from where you are to where you want to go in Self, Body, & Money.

We’ll identify your biggest obstacles, and start laying the special, necessary groundwork for Phase B: Build.

10 WEEKS

In this phase we get to work building your foundation of support and well-being in each area, tailored to support your unique needs and goals, addressing each key focus area:

SELF: Your Inner Well-Being
BODY: Your Physical Well-Being
MONEY: Your Financial Well-Being

Each week, you’ll have a clear plan with concrete, positive steps to support your progress in each area.

2 WEEKS

In this phase, we take our final two weeks together to consolidate the foundation you’ve built, making it secure so that you can continue your momentum, building upon the foundation that you’ve build.

In this phase, we’ll address any obstacles or questions that you may have.

We’ll identify how you can best continue your progress toward the more you want to feel and see in your life.

Throughout the program: 

  • You will be part of a community of women, with a private Facebook group where we will connect with each other, have ongoing interaction, and be able to support and cheer each other on between calls.
  • You will be able to join our weekly calls where we’ll dig into the week’s topic to support your progress and each other’s (and if you can’t make it, you’ll have access to the recording, so you’ll feel like you’re with us live).
  • You will get access to The Personal Power Program™ lessons and content in preparation for each session, including any relevant supporting resources.

In other words, you’ll be supported to make this the journey you want it to be, with the results you want to feel and see in your life.

I’m Darcy.

The Personal Power Program™ is the result of my own journey and my desire to support other women in their journeys to create the positive change they want to feel and see in their lives. I wanted to support our self-care and self-advocacy because I have seen – throughout my travels, living abroad, and work and life experiences – the powerful impact of women taking care and advocating for other things and people, whether in their own homes or outside of them. I wanted to support women to do that more powerfully for themselves, too.

Personal Power is not about having power or influence over someone else’s life. It’s about having power and influence over our own lives. To have the freedom to choose. Therefore, The Personal Power Program™ helps women take action to build their Personal Power by focusing on well-being in 3 areas: Self, Body, & Money.

Why Self, Body, and Money? 

Feeling good is synergistic. It’s more than just the sum of its parts. When we feel good in Self, Body, and Money – when we are connected with ourselves and know what we want and need to feel good; when we live our lives in accordance with that, taking care of our physical, as well as our emotional, mental, and financial needs to feel freer and more able to choose and do – then we live better in all areas of our lives: work, play, love, motherhood, friendship – all of them.

Personal Power is about feeling more fulfilled, more energized, more confident, and more secure. Things that not only support ourselves but also support the things and people who are most meaningful in our lives.

After all, we can give more when we have more to give.

Ultimately, Personal Power is taking care of yourself so that you can more powerfully create the more you want.

PHASE: ASSESS
LAY THE GROUNDWORK Have you ever bought a book, started a DIY course, or joined a program that was focused on one of your goals, whether it was to find your life’s direction, lose weight, get fit, earn more money, build your own business, or another topic of interest? You did it with great intentions, right? So, how did it end? Did it stick? Did it create the lasting results that you wanted to see or feel in your life? Many times it doesn’t. We procrastinate, get into a start-and-stop cycle, or don’t follow it through to the end. This is really a pre-step for the rest of the PPP, and we start here so that you don’t procrastinate, so that you can be consistent, and so you will take action to get the lasting results you want to feel and see.

GET CLEAR You know that quote, “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there”? That is exactly what you’re not going to struggle with in PPP because you’re going to get crystal clear exactly where you are and where you want to go before you take any actions to get there. I know personally and professionally how much time, energy, and resources can be wasted when we aren’t clear first on what we want. While it seems obvious, one of the biggest reasons people don’t get to where they want to go is because they don’t know where they want to go in the first place: They don’t know what they want. In this module, you’ll get clear, so you won’t have that issue.

PHASE: BUILD

PERSONAL POWER: SELF

In this module, we will cover the 10 Power Steps to build greater well-being in our inner selves, which will include helping you to do the following:

GET CONNECTED How often have you pushed down that voice that is telling you that something doesn’t feel right, that you need something different, that you want more of something or less of something else, that you’re not feeling the way you’d like to feel, that you should be moving in a particular direction? Often, we stifle that voice and ultimately disconnect from our greatest source of information, inspiration, and guidance: Ourselves. In this module, you’ll take steps to support the very important relationship in your life: The one with yourself.

BE ENOUGH For many of us, the biggest obstacle we face to having what we want – being happier, more fulfilled, more of who we are and want to be – doesn’t exist outside but on the inside. Fear. Self-doubt. Self-criticism. Not feeling ready enough, smart enough, prepared enough, fit enough, thin enough, skilled enough, attractive enough, educated enough, experienced enough, rich enough, ______ enough. You fill in the blank. Not-enoughness, as I call it, that we can face inside can limit what we do in our lives. This module will help you practice Enoughness in your life. You’ll become your best advocate and have practical tools to navigate not-enoughness, so that it doesn’t hold you back.

GET CONGRUENT One of the reasons why our lives seem to diverge from what we want is life itself. It’s busy. It’s hectic. It’s full. It can be overwhelming and challenging at times. Stressful. And when it is, it’s difficult to find time to stay on track with what we want, even if we are crystal clear on what that is. In this module, we take action to align what we do with what we want. This will be a theme we will build upon when we focus on Body and Money. However, this will start building the foundation of creating congruency in your life to move you toward how you want to feel and live.

PERSONAL POWER: BODY

In this module, we will cover the 10 Power Steps to build greater well-being in our bodies, which will include helping you to do the following:

HAVE GREATER VITALITY
In this module, we’ll establish and/or build upon an exercise-to-thrive habit that supports you in feeling and living your best. I call it exercise-to-thrive because when I wasn’t avoiding exercise (which I did until my mid-30s because I loathed it), I exercised for many reasons – to lose weight, to manage my weight, to look good, to fit into a certain pair of jeans. I certainly didn’t do it to thrive. That would imply not just feeling good from exercise but actually liking it. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I could not only like to exercise but also crave it. It was life-transforming. That’s because when you feel good, you have a lot more energy to live! In this module, we focus on establishing an exercise-to-thrive cardiovascular habit that works with you, your preferences, and your lifestyle.

BUILD YOUR STRENGTH Do you like to travel? Do you like to play games with your kids/grandkids? Do you like to be able to go shopping (okay, I really don’t enjoy grocery shopping, but there are other kinds of shopping I like, and you may, too)? Do you like to be able to get out of your chair and walk across the room? The fact is that we rely on our bodies for a lot that we take for granted. Another fact is that we have to do something to help our bodies be able to do the “a lot” that we take for granted. Especially as women because we are more likely to face the challenges of debilitating bone loss over our lives (which begins at age 30, ladies, sorry to tell you). The good news is that in this module, we focus on building a strength training habit to support you in living as fully as you want, now and tomorrow. And if that doesn’t sound sexy, how about this: If you want to know how to transform your body inside out – from your bones to your muscles, to your metabolism, to how you fit in clothes (and more) – strength training is it. I lost two clothing sizes without losing a pound from consistently doing strength training exercises that also fit in with my life. Spending many hours in the gym is not necessary. What is necessary is knowing what to do, how to do it, and doing it enough. That’s what you’ll get in this module and more.

ENERGIZE YOUR BODY & YOUR LIFE
Food is one of life’s great pleasures, but it isn’t always a pleasure in our lives because of the eating habits we develop in contemporary life. We may face limited time, the need to accommodate different tastes, and deal with different schedules. The food that is often easiest to access is tasty but not that nourishing. We get into a habit of eschewing more nourishing food, eating quickly, distractedly, and often for reasons that have nothing to do with actual hunger: Stress, boredom, entertainment, loneliness, fatigue, anger, joy. The list goes on. We may struggle with our weight, which brings its own brand of torture, including that called dieting. Bottom line: Instead of enjoying a peaceful, thriving relationship with food and eating in a way that fuels our living fully, we may find the opposite: A big drain on our energy, time, and even resources. In this module, we take steps to eat to live – vs. living to eat – in a way that supports how you want to feel and live.

PERSONAL POWER: MONEY

In this module, we will cover the 10 Power Steps to build greater financial well-being, which will include helping you to do the following:

ENJOY GREATER MONEY HARMONY
You’ve probably heard a lot about money mindset. It’s the big buzzword. However, money is much more than mental. It’s also emotional. How we think and feel about money plays a big role in how harmonious our relationship with money is, something that ultimately plays out in our bank account. In this module, you will take action to become more aware of your relationship with money and how to improve it, including identifying your money values to align with your money strategy, tackling any mental or emotional money blocks that you may have that stand in your way, and fostering a healthy, thriving relationship with money to take more intentional action to achieve your financial goals.
GAIN CONTROL
Don’t even think it: Budget. Ugh. That word reminds me of the word Diet, which, when I hear it, just makes me want to run in the direction of the chocolates in my cupboard. You may or may not need a budget (and if you do, we have a much more empowering concept of this than what budgeting – financial dieting – implies). However, you do need financial control. Control over your financial well-being. This module will help you to take steps to understand and take charge of your finances so you have a better foundation to support your ability to achieve your financial goals.

BUILD YOUR FINANCIAL MUSCLE
How much are you flexing your money muscle to work for you and your goals, the goals of your loved ones? Often, we are so focused on accumulating money (or paying off debt) that we may not have a strategy in place to make our money work for us. Especially in a way that fits our preferences, our time horizon, our goals – that fits us and our needs. In this module, you’ll not only gain control over your finances but also identify steps to take to build and flex your money muscle to work for you, your preferences, and your goals.

PHASE: CONSOLIDATE

After we finish the three areas, the final phase of the program will be spent consolidating what we’ve covered, addressing any questions or challenges you have, and making sure you have what you need to continue your momentum after the program.
